Splash N Dash is a free event for the community and is sponsored and put on by Triatomics Multisport Club with continued support from
Los Alamos County Recreation Division.

The 2010 Splash 'N Dash dates are now confirmed (each on a Wednesday evening):

  • June 30th
  • July 14th
  • July 28th
  • August 11th
Lost Goggles July 14th???? If anyone lost a pair of goggles at SnD on July 14th
(they were left on the lawn), Amy has them.

Call 665-0658 (w), or 672-3623 (h) to arrange a pickup.

** Who, What, When, Where **

Swimmers, runners, beginning multisports athletes, seasoned triathletes, or anyone interested can participate in either:

  • 400 yard swim, followed by a 5K run along Canyon Drive
  • 200 yard swim, followed by a 3K run along Canyon Drive.

...each is at the Larry Walkup Aquatic Center.

Registration for all distances begins at 6:20 and closes at 6:55pm, with the first swimmer sent off at 7:00pm sharp!  Due to time and space constraints, the event will be limited to the first 75 registrants.

This is a FREE event! Registration wil be at the back or north side of the Aquatic Center.

For course details and updates, visit www.triatomics.org/splashndash.  There will be no charge to compete, and there will be no aide stations anywhere on the course.  Come prepared with any water or food you feel you may need.

Note:  Participants under the age of 18 must come prepared with a waiver signed by a parent.

SND Notice

SND is not a race, but a group training event.  There is no course support or protection from traffic of any kind and you assume all risk and responsibility when participating just as you do when doing your own workouts.

Please exercise good judgement, watch out for cars at all times, and have fun!
