Atomic Man Duathlon Team Competition

Why participate in the Team Competition? Earn money for your team and have a chance of winning $100 overall team prize. See rules below.

• Any club or team or group of friends can enter. We will refer to any such group as ʽteamʼ from here down.
• All team members must be registered by the 18th of April, 2010. Teams cannot be changed after that date. No exceptions.
• Each team must have at least 4 members and at least one must be female.
• Each team member must be registered as an individual (not a relay member).
• Each team must have a unique name.
• Each team member must list their team name in Active.com when registering for the event. We cannot add team members outside of the active registration or after the 18^th of April.
• Team members do not have to compete in the same race. You can have some team members doing Fat Man and some team members doing Little Boy.
• Each team member will earn $5 for their team by participating either in Fat Man or Little Boy individual (not relay) race.
• Belonging to a team does not preclude you from individual competition. Meaning that you can win your age group and earn $5 for your team AND score points toward $100 team prize competition.
• Teams that have at least 4 members including one female all competing on the Fat Man course will be eligible for winning the overall $100 team prize.
• Scoring for the overall $100 team prize is cross county style, so placing 12^th overall earns your team 12 points.
• Scoring Example: if you have 5 team members racing in Fat Man. If they each place overall as follows: 7^th (male), 9^th (male), 12^th (male), 20^th(male), 50^th (female). Then your team scores 7+9+12+50 = 78 points. Little Boy team members do not contribute to team scores but do earn $5 each for their team.
• Team with lowest score wins $100 team prize. No prizes for 2^nd, 3^rd etc team placements.
• A team point of contact must be given for each team when registering. Total rebate the team makes ($5 x number of team members) will be given in the form of a check made out to the point of contact name.
