Atomic Man BRICKS (9:00 am)
Atomic Man BRICKS!Times are at 9am unless otherwise notifiedLos Alamos - meet at the LAHS parking lot, WR - Pinon School Parking lotThe dates and proposed distances/times are as follows for the courses - if you're following Jessica's training plan then these fall on the weekends she has assigned to BRICK training so you're good to go.
Sat 9th April - Los Alamos. Follow the LA Triathlon (remember that?!) bike course and the run up canyon as with the Splash'n'Dash Sat 16th April - White Rock - Atomic Man course, Bike Fat Man or Little Boy course followed by the appropriate run (see http://www.triatomics.org/duathlon/coursedescription for maps)
Sat 23rd April - White Rock - Atomic Man course, Bike Fat Man or Little Boy course followed by the appropriate run (see http://www.triatomics.org/duathlon/coursedescription for maps)
Things to remember:
- Bring something to secure your bike while you're running - there will be no one there to mind your bikes and the club accepts no responsibility if your 10k Madone takes a walk - it will definitely not be in my garage getting a respray.....
- This is not a race - its a group training event
- There is no course support - bring your own fuel and water
- Dress appropriately - it may be cold to start and then warm up - be aware
- There are cars around - be aware of traffic especially when making u-turns - not wearing headphones will increase your ability to hear vehicles
- I've not ridden this route yet this year - be vigilant for pot-holes
- Most of all - have fun!
